Ivy Cottage is a simple detached stone cottage, facing west across the valley of the Gala Water, standing at the top of a quarter-mile drive leading off the A7 to a family mansion house/estate between the villages of Stow (pub, shop) and Fountainhall, 10 miles north of Galashiels (good range of shops, swimming pool, etc.) and 23 miles south of Edinburgh. The perfect location for a couple seeking privacy in beautiful surroundings with easy access to all The Borders, Edinburgh and points further north.

Heating is by open-fire and electricity. Bed-linen and towels are available for hire. Pets are welcome.
