Kinlochlaich House is on the West Coast halfway between Oban and Fort William (both easily reached in about 40 minutes by car) at Appin - between the mountains bordering the west side of Glencoe and the island-dotted sea at Loch Linnhe - a fine 18th-century period house standing in its own beautiful gardens (with a tennis-court tenants can arrange to use), offering comfortable self-contained apartments which are extremely well-placed for exploring this very lovely area; and there is also one self-contained traditional cottage within the grounds.
Visitors can buy fresh fruit/vegetables from the owners' walled garden-centre behind the house, and gastronomes will like to know there are two well-renowned restaurants just a short drive away (plus many less prestigious ones).
There is almost every conceivable sport available in the area, and a host of attractions and interesting places to visit.
Heating is by electricity (
included). Bed-linen and towels are available for hire.
We regret pets are not accepted. There is a tennis court, games room with table tennis, laundry room and telephone for visitors' use.
